Roberta ECKELBERRY Obituary
Sadly, on April 11, 2025, our community lost a beautiful soul. Roberta Eckelberry, age 67, left this world surrounded by family and friends. Roberta was a beloved mother, daughter, friend, wife, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Many in Cheney may remember Roberta's cheerful face from her long career at Century Link. There she strived to bring joy to each person she encountered, whether it was by decorating the office, being kind and compassionate to customers, or through community service. Her legacy extended far beyond the workplace, touching the lives within the community. Roberta's dedication to her loved ones and her unwavering spirit will forever be remembered and cherished. We also celebrate the vibrant life she led and the indelible mark she left on all who had the honor of knowing her.
Roberta leaves behind her mother, Rose Gibson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Jessica Knudtson, and Kyle and Shirlee Knudtson; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A service will be held at Cheney Funeral Home on May 10, 2025, at 12 noon. After the service, family and friends will be gathering together at Eagles Pub to celebrate Roberta.
