Roberta S. "Birdie" (Mika) Henry, 88, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025. Born Oct. 19, 1936, in Hostetter, she was the daughter of the late Morris R. Mika and Olga (Discovich) Mika. Birdie was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Latrobe. Prior to her retirement, she had been an admissions clerk and receptionist at Latrobe Area Hospital with 30 years of service. She also enjoyed volunteering at "RSVP" in Youngwood. Birdie is survived by her son, Robert A. Henry; her best friends and caregivers, Debbie Elias and Sally Hall; as well as many good friends. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Parastas service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, in the funeral home. Divine Liturgy will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Latrobe. Everyone is asked to please go directly to church. Private interment will be at Unity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4827 Route 982, Latrobe, PA 15650.
