Roberta Lahey

Roberta Lahey was born on July 30, 1930 in New Westminster, BC, Canada. She passed away in Lake Havasu City on August 31, 2025.

Roberta was described as being smart, elegant, classy, the nicest lady ever, and as someone who knew what she wanted. She was all those things, and more, but her most remarkable traits were her resilience and optimism. She married a US Navy serviceman and often said that she spent most of her time packing and moving. Each move brought its own challenges: leaving her home country, travelling to 16 different duty stations including Malta and The Philippines, reentering the workforce as a widow, moving to Lake Havasu City in 1992. She approached each move with the belief that there was something good about every place.

Roberta was active in the LHC Lioness service organization. She volunteered at the local hospi-tal and Museum of History; continuing a tradition started during the couple's Navy travels. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling with tour groups and taking cruises with friends.

Roberta is preceded in death by her husband, John, and all her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Terry Lahey (Dick Elewaut) of Lake Havasu City and her grandson, Kellen Hade (Nic Doherty) of Seattle, WA.
