ROBERTA F. LYNCH

LYNCH, Roberta F. Of Malden, died suddenly on November 8. Beloved wife of Edward Lynch. Mother of Eric Lynch and his wife, Amanda of Apex, NC and Natalie Lynch and her wife, Rachel Richter of Malden. Affectionately known as "Roro" to her grandchildren, Anna, Abigail and Devin. Sister of Patricia Desmond of Malden, David Desmond of Malden, William Desmond and his partner, Kathy Balwanz of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by her granddog, Nemo; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Roberta was happiest tending to the flowers around her house, reading, dancing at weddings, and spending time surrounded by her friends and family. A lifelong resident of Malden, she was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Parish Grammar School, Girls Catholic High School and Boston University. For many years, she was a schoolteacher in Medford, at both the Roberts Middle School and the Andrews Middle School. She also taught at the Rockland Nursery School in Malden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., MALDEN, on Friday, November 14, at 9 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass, celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held at the funeral home, on Thursday, November 13, from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Malden Public Library, 36 Salem St., Malden, MA 02148.
