Roberta D. Molony "Bobbie" (Nee Pachol)
Age 83, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Hyde Park, La Grange, and a resident of Lockport since the early 1990's. Roberta was a retired Deacon from St. John the Evangelical Episcopal Church, Lockport where she was a dedicated parishioner for many years. Member of Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago in Lemont, the Heritage Quilters Guild, Lockport, and Life Member of the Lockport VFW Post # 5788 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph Frank Roberts III (2015); her parents, Ignatious and Irene (Nee Gerkin) Pacholski; and one brother, Larry (Louise) Pachol.
Survived by her loving husband, William Molony; one cherished daughter, Jeanne E. Roberts; an adored granddaughter, Haley E. Roberts; two sisters, Judy (Charles) Gaines, and Roberta Gruwell; loving stepdaughters, Kim (Ivan) Torres, and Maureen Molony - Rathbun; four step grandchildren, Elizabeth and Caitlin Amato, Sarah Mathis, and Tessa Hitchcock; and one great granddaughter, Lilith Sagle.
Per Roberta's wishes, Cremation Rites were respectfully addressed.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Memorial Mass will be held with everyone meeting at St. Joseph Catholic Church 410 S. Jefferson St. Lockport, IL 60441 on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10:00am. Inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood at a later date.
