Roberta Ann Nicholls

Roberta Ann Nicholls, a lifelong resident of Cold Spring, entered into rest on March 11, 2024 at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt. She was 76 years old.
Daughter of the late Pearson and Vicki Ricevuto Rubright, she was born on February 17, 1948 in Cold Spring. She graduated from Haldane High School in 1966 and then went to work at IBM where she met and married George Nicholls in 1970.
She enjoyed life as a stay-at-home mom where she was able to be involved in all school activities as well as coach her children's little league team. She enjoyed skiing, playing softball, bowling and golfing. She also loved to fish, which she passed along to her 2 grandsons whom she cherished. Roberta was a die-hard baseball fan the Yankees and Giants were her passion. Watching her grandsons play ball and wrestle gave her the most enjoyment.
Roberta is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Manzi and her husband, Mickey of Newburgh; her son, Christopher Nicholls of Colorado and his partner, Johnna Mancari; her 2 grandsons, Michael and Anthony Manzi of Newburgh.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pearson and Victoria Rubright and her husband, George Nicholls.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. A reception will be held after the service at the Beacon Elks Lodge, 900 Wolcott Avenue, Beacon.
