Roberta L. Pohl age 78 of Sublette passed away on Saturday Sep 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 6, 1947 in Mendota, IL the daughter of Robert and Delores (Becker) Weber. Roberta worked at Vitatone Cleaners in Mendota for many years. She enjoyed watching and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending their sporting events. She married Frederick W. Pohl on Jan. 20, 1968 in Mendota, IL. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2023. Roberta is also preceded in death by her parents, and brother Martin Weber. She is survived by her children Frederick Pohl Jr. of Sublette, Susan Pohl of Sublette, grandchildren Coleton Pohl, Camryne (Haley) Pohl, Chanlor Pohl, siblings Donald (Elaine) Weber, Janet (Ron) Clemons, Richard (Wanda) Weber, Ronald (Jackie) Weber, Cathy (Larry) Ellis, Robert (Maureen) Weber, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Tuesday Sep 30, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Cremation rites will follow with burial to take place at a later date at Restland Cemetery in Mendota. Visitation will be on Tuesday Sep. 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. A memorial has been established to the Amboy Jr. Tackle program. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
