Roberta Lucille Eubanks Reed, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Valdosta, Georgia. Born March 31, 1934, in Newport News, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Bennie Eubanks and Lucille Verell Eubanks. In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dr. Morgan Reed, and her nephew, Richard Reed.

Roberta worked with her husband at the Bitterroot Animal Hospital. They founded the animal hospital together and enjoyed serving their community. She was a member (and previous president) of the Pomona-Creech extension club since 1973. Roberta was a member of the Smithfield Woman's Club. She, along with her husband, Morgan, helped found the BMW motorcycle club. Roberta was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Smithfield.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at Parrish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00pm, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Flowers are welcome. Roberta will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:00am, at Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.

Roberta is survived by her sister, Virginia (Rupert) Eubanks LeCraw; nieces and nephews, Iris Cannon, Marie Witcher, Holly LeCraw Howe, and Andrew LeCraw; brother-in-law, Charles Reed; and sister-in-law, Nelida Reed.
