Roberta June Rider

Roberta June Rider, 77, of Aurora Missouri, passed peacefully from this life November 11th, 2025 at 2:35am while in hospice care for respiratory issues. She was born November 27th, 1947 in Springfield Missouri, to Manion and Ida Jennings.
She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1966 and lived her life in the surrounding cities to Springfield, Missouri. Roberta worked the majority of her life in factory work for Litton Industries, but did get the chance to have her dream job of working for Service Merchandise in Springfield Missouri. Roberta volunteered her time over the years to Crosslines Resource Center in Springfield, Missouri and was a church member in Clever, Missouri for many years while attending with her husband, Chuck.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Chuck. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Rider. Roberta was also preceded in death by her parents, Manion and Ida Jennings; brother James, sisters, Virginia, Mary, Dorothy and Deborah.
Roberta was passionate about the dachshund dog breed and provided multiple beloved companions a loving home. Roberta loved to play her hand at the casino that resulted in a couple of Thanksgiving holidays spent at the casino with the family.
At Roberta's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, her daughter would request that friends and loved ones donate in Roberta's name to their favorite charity or local animal rescue.
