Roberta Meade Rowan

Roberta Meade Rowan, 92, of Pickerington, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1931 in Louisa, Kentucky to Erna and Phoebe (Miller) Thompson. She married the love of her life Clyde Meade and they had four beautiful children together. She was proud of the work she did for years with Anchor Hocking. She enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, gardening, canning, and traveling. Her family knew her as the best cook in the world. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Clyde Meade; son Gary Meade; and siblings Ida Jo and Ernest J. Roberta will be truly missed by her children Clyde (Judy) Meade, Jr., Jimmie (Jeanne) Meade, and Anita Meade; grandchildren Angi (Bill), Ryan (Ashley), Andrew (Megan), and Autumn; step-grandchildren Jamie (Brandy), Kristen, and Melissa (Joe); great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Mason, Eylse, Mason, Maddox, Tatum, Matthias, Theo, Logan, Makayla, and Noah; many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, from 11am-Noon at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, with her funeral service to begin at Noon. Graveside service to follow at Violet Township Cemetery.
