Roberta Snyder Sharp

Roberta Snyder Sharp, 85, of San Marcos, California, formerly of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026. She was a 1958 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School of Beckley, WV, and a 1961 graduate of the Watts School of Nursing, Durham, NC. She worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse for over 40 years.

She enjoyed gardening, socializing with friends, and her involvement with the Bella Vista Community Church. Roberta loved her family and spending time with them. She also loved her dogs and enjoyed traveling. She will be sadly missed by those whose lives she touched.

Born July 4, 1940 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Russell Snyder and Hilda Crickmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sharp; and a brother, Ed Crickmer, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Tom Sharp and wife, Lisa Dreyfus; her daughter, Kim Sharp Vesser and her husband, Mike Vesser; grandchildren, Kelly Vesser, Will Vesser, and Dylan Dreyfus.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Roberta's memory to the The Parkinson's Foundation at www.parkinson.org.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Buffalo. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. There will be a Celebration of Life in Charleston, WV following the service.
