Roberta Nancy Tesar

Roberta Nancy Tesar (nee Rowe), known affectionately as Nancy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, at Morningside House of Satyr Hill. Born on April 30, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, Nancy's journey through life was marked by love, creativity, and a deep commitment to her family and community.
Her family was the heart of Nancy's world. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Tami Harper and her husband Allen, her son Raymond Tesar, and his wife Dawn. Nancy was affectionately known as "Nana" by her granddaughter Tiffani Caplan, and her husband Matt whom Nancy adored. She was a cherished sister to the late Catherine Reynolds, her brother Jerry Rowe, her sister Helen Green, brother Milo Fields and sister Linda Bergling. Though her beloved husband Donald Tesar predeceased her, their love story remains an inspiration to all who knew them.
Those who knew Nancy would describe her as loving, generous, and thoughtful. She had the rare ability to make everyone feel special and valued, and her legacy of kindness is evident in the many lives she touched.
Nancy's life was a beautiful tapestry of moments spent nurturing her family, creating beauty, and serving her community. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the enduring impact of her love and generosity. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, just as the blankets she crocheted will continue to provide warmth to those she held dear.
Nancy's life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for her family and all who were fortunate to know her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Everyone is to meet at the Cemetery Office between 10:30- 10:45.
