Roberta "Bobbie" Mae Watton, 84, of Fairmont, WV passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at WVU Medicine JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 29, 1941, the daughter of the late Robert H and Delcie Wilma (Griffith) McKinney.

Bobbie was a graduate of East Fairmont High School. After graduation she worked for Owens Illinois before becoming a homemaker. Her favorite pass time was spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons William M Watton II "Bill" and his wife Christy of Weston, Charles R Watton "Bob" and his wife Cindy of Fairmont, grandchildren Kaitlyn Jenkins and her husband Kenny of Morgantown, Abigail Eddy and her husband C.J. of Fairmont, McKayla Sloan and her partner Andrew Fetty of Idamay, Nicholas Watton and his wife Rebecca of Louisiana, Mark Watton of Grafton, Mason Watton of Fairmont, Jonathan Watton of Grafton, great grandchildren Christopher, Liam, Isla, Tilly, Jace, Wesley and several nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years William M Watton, son Marc Watton, grandson Tyler Watton, brother Fred McKinney, sisters Mary Alice Vincent, Pauline Palamino, Joann Williams, Patty Shannon and Wilma Eckle.

Family and friends may call at The Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm. Pastor Jim Zinn will be officiating. A private burial will take place at the West Virginia National Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss. I went through grade school and High school with Bobbie and we were great friends. I am sending my condolences to all her family. Will be keeping you all in my prayers.
