Roberta Weirich Obituary
She was born November 21, 1949, Ora, Indiana, to Robert and Bessie (Chaney) Bauer.
On June 28, 1968, in La Porte, she married Jerry Weirich who survives.
Bobbie loved games of chance and enjoyed going to the casino, and also playing casino games on the computer. She also loved animals and going fishing, and red roses. Her family brought her great joy and she relished the time she spent with them.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Rhonda (Mike Wozniak) Ashcraft; siblings, Ron (Rosemary) Bauer, Sharon Bauer, and Sue (Jeff) Lantz; canine companions, Lulu, and Grand-dog Callie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pamela Price, infant brother, Robert Jr., and wiener dog, Libby, who stood by her side for 15 years.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3111, with Pastor Wayne Joyner officiating. A visitation and viewing will be held from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
