Mr. Roberto Javier Garcia, 78, entered into his everlasting peace on November 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Amelia Garcia; siblings Graciela (Guadalupe) Martinez, Amelia (Hector) Garcia, Lucila Contreras, Ralph (Ruby) Garcia, Carlos Garcia and baby sister Leticia.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Maiva Garcia, Monika (Cesar) Garay, Maritza Garcia and Roberto (Sunshine) Garcia; grandchildren: Anjolie, Cesar Dante and Nadia Garay, William, Mia, Melanni and Jacob.
Roberto is further survived by his siblings Guillermo (Genoveva) Garcia, Laura (Joe) Lopez; brother-in-law: David Contreras; his dear cousin, Octavia Leal, and companion Isabel T. Sanchez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends he made along the way.
The family appreciates the medical care provided by Laredo Medical Center 2C staff, MDs, and Altus Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 7 am to 11 am.
A Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will be offered at 11 am by Father Wojchiech Przystasz in the chapel.
The procession will then form and depart to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
