Roberto "Bob/Bert" Palad Nolasco

November 24, 1935 - March 2, 2026

Roberto Palad Nolasco, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born on November 24, 1935, in Manila, Philippines, Roberto carried with him the strength, resilience, and deep sense of family that shaped his life. He proudly served in the United States Navy for more than 20 years, dedicating himself to his adopted country with honor and integrity. His service was a source of great pride and a reflection of his steady commitment to duty and sacrifice.

For 59 beautiful years, Roberto was the devoted husband of Oliva Nolasco. Together, they built a life grounded in faith, perseverance, and unconditional love. Their marriage was a true partnership - one marked by loyalty, quiet strength, and enduring devotion.

He was a loving and proud father to his three sons, Lester (and grandson Lorenzo and granddaughter Raeanne), Owen (and daughter-in-law Amy, granddaughters Grace and Molly), and Vincent (and daughter-in-law Aimee, granddaughters Bella and Taylor). His grandchildren were among his greatest joys, and he cherished watching them grow and thrive.

Roberto was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided him throughout his life. He believed deeply in prayer, family, and doing what was right. He found simple pleasures in life - enjoying a good steak, spending time at the bowling alley in his early years and relaxing in his lazy boy watching his favorite teams and programs.

Above all, Roberto will be remembered as a loving husband and father, a steady and gentle presence, a soft-spoken man. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished so deeply and in the values of faith, service, and love that he instilled in them.

He will be profoundly missed and forever held in our hearts.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to his caregiver, Amy Salamat, the caring nurses and staff of Trinity Hospice, and the wonderful facilities and caregivers at Bickford Virginia Beach.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Graham Funeral Home. Please visit grahamfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence to the family.
