Carter Nolasco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc - Durham on Jan. 29, 2026.
Carter Alexander Nolasco was born into the faithful care of his parents, Hugo and Meredith Nolasco, and was surrounded by love and prayer every moment of his life. From his earliest days in the NICU, Carter showed a remarkable fighting spirit-one seen in every monitored breath, every small victory, and every moment he held on with quiet strength.

The Lord was with Carter every step of the way-near in the waiting, present in the uncertainty, and steady through each fragile moment. Though his life was brief, it remains purposeful, sacred, and deeply held by God. He arrived with intention and was created for a purpose far greater than this world.

Carter is survived by his devoted parents, Hugo and Meredith Nolasco; his big brother, Beckham James Nolasco, who will always carry his brother's name in his heart; his grandparents Tommy and Susan Parker and Lisabeta Zorilla; his uncles and aunts David and Kelly Parker, Jordan and Jan Parker, and Victor Nolasco; and a host of cousins who will grow up knowing Carter's invaluable legacy.

While grief marks Carter's absence, faith anchors the certainty that he is now fully healed and whole, resting in the arms of Jesus. His life is a testimony that even the smallest vessel can carry eternal weight, and that God's steadfast love remains unshaken through both joy and sorrow.

Carter will always be remembered, deeply loved, and eternally cherished-until the day his family is reunited with him in glory.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
