With a profound sadness we announce that Roberto Rueda, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
Visitation: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Thompson Harveson & Cole Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Thompson Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth.
Interment: 1:00 p.m. at Skyvue Memorial Garden, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063.
Roberto Rueda was born in Ojo de Agua, Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico on May 13th, 1949. He moved to Fort Worth from Vicente Guerrero, Durango in the early 1970's. He was a hard worker and instilled that to all his family. He helped many friends and family when needed. He enjoyed his family and friends and horses and roosters. You'd always find him at the stables caring for his horses even after dark. He loved all of his children and grandchildren and listening to Antonio Aguilar and Tigres del Norte. His motto was to always try your hardest, "Echele Ganas".
Roberto is preceded in death by a son Jose Cruz "Chupe" Rueda and a daughter Chalita. He is survived by his children, Martin, SanJuana, Roberto, Lupita, Diana, Maricela, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has son in laws and daughter in laws. He has a Brother and Sister, and Cousins, and Nieces and Nephews and extended family and friends. He has a large and proud and hard working family to continue his memory.Rest in peace, Roberto.

Roberto Rueda nacio en Ojo de Agua, Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico el 13 de Mayo, 1949. Llego a Fort Worth de Vicente Guerrero, Durango en los tempranos de 1970's. Trabajo duro y paso esa enseñansa a toda su familia. Ayudo a muchos amigos y familia cuando necesario. Disfruto de su familia y amigos y caballos y gallos. Siempre se encontraba en los corrales, cuidando sus caballos, asta lo oscuro de la noche. Queria mucho a todos sus hijos y nietos y bisnietos y escuchar a Antonio Aguilar y a los Tigres del Norte. Siempre les decia a todos..."Echele Ganas".
Roberto es precedido en la muerte por un hijo, Jose Cruz "Chupe" Rueda y una hija Chalita. Es sobrevivido por sus hijos, Martin, SanJuana, Roberto, Lupita, Diana, Maricela, y 17 nietos, y 10 bisnietos. Tiene yernos y yernas. Tiene hemano y hermana, y primos y primas, y sobrinos, y sobrinas, y mucha familia extendida y muchos amigos. Tiene una famila grande y tabajadora y orgullosa para seguir su recuerdo.
