Robin Beardsley Obituary
SHORT TRACT - Robin Leroy "Huck" Beardsley, of 5098 Robinson Road, died Saturday (July 26, 2025) in Short Tract.
He was born Jan. 13, 1957, in Nunda, a son of the late John and Genevieve Voss Beardsley.
Rob was a construction worker with his brother Tom and later was the caretaker for the Hungarian Scout Camp in Short Tract.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding and tinkering on any style of motorcycle. Rob also loved music and playing the bass guitar.
Surviving are his daughters, Melissa (James) Rodriguez of Chambersburg, Pa. and Sarah Beardsley of Olean; five grandchildren, Cleo, Jayda, Tiona, Shelby and Landon; a great-grandson, Vance; two sisters, Linda Brandt of Fillmore and Cindy Perry of Short Tract; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Dale Beardsley, R. Paul Beardsley and Thomas O. Beardsley Sr.; and two sisters, Nancy Osborn and Brenda Mueckl.
A memorial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Friday (Aug. 1, 2025) in the Short Tract Fire Hall, 10355 Co Road 15, Short Tract.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee St., Fillmore.
