Robin M. Buckles

Robin M. Buckles, a local real estate broker and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home in Monticello. She was 67.
The daughter of Patricia and the late Robert Buckles, she was born November 5, 1958 in Middletown.
She is survived by her two children, Saige Kashan and Courtney Kashan; her beloved mother, Patricia Buckles; her brothers, Robert and Brent Buckles; her cousins Karen Michel and Kathy Moore; and many family members and friends who loved her so much. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister Susan.
Robin was known for her green thumb, love for all animals and the color purple, her sense of humor, dance moves and eccentric sense of style. Robin was happiest outdoors, whether in her garden or dancing on a beach. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones. Her legacy will live on.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a memorial service starting at 11:30am. Private interment of her ashes will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Monticello.
