Mrs. Robin J. Canady, 63, of Garfield, GA passed away on January 2, 2026 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Robin was the child of the late Glenn Elijah and Jacqueline Nora Leona Catherine Simpson Jones Robin had worked as a clerical administrator at Ogeechee Behavioral Health. She loved playing cards and trivia games with her friends and family. She was a kind soul and never met a stranger no matter where she went. She enjoyed eating at the Waffle House and searching for things to add to her collection of antiques. Her favorite color was purple. She was member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church for thirty-eight years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Candace J. Canady, and a brother, John Paul Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Randy Canady of Garfield, special grandchildren, Joleigh Coxwell, Micah Coxwell, Sarah Laine Coxwell, Willa Grace Coxwell, and a brother, Ronnie Jones of Reidsville, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, January 4th, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Chapman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5th, 2026 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at 2:00pm with Rev. Jim Harrell officiating, assisted by Rev. Randy Graham.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenton Landon, Koty Royal, Jeff Joyner, Seth DuBois, Brannon Bush, and Thomas Proctor.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Candance Canady Scholarship Fund, c/o Durden Banking Company, PO Box 160, Twin City, GA 30471.
