Robin K. Deighan

Robin Leet Deighan passed away peacefully at her home in Birmingham Michigan on January 1, 2023 after a years' long battle with cancer. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 28, 1959 to her parents, Roy and Joan Leet.
A beautiful, sweet, loving and kind soul, Robin was completely dedicated to raising her family and lifting the spirits of everyone around her. She had an infectious smile and was always nice to everyone she encountered. After graduating from Royal Oak Kimball, she attended Western Michigan University where she made so many lifelong friends. She spent time working for Michigan Bell Telephone Company, the Sportsman, Cecille's and Keil and Associates. In 1981, a couple of friends from Western introduced her to her future husband, Mike. They married 4 years later and spent the next 36 years taking amazing and loving care of her family.
Robin was a dedicated wife, mother and friend who was encouraging, and always forgiving. She made each of those she met a better person. She was an active volunteer at Holy Name School, Harlan School and Derby School for many years. She was a dedicated fundraiser to a number of charities, especially the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and the Karmanos Cancer Center. She loved spending time in Northern Michigan and the Panhandle of Florida with her extended family and friends. The time she spent, the memories she made, and the lifelong friendships nurtured on Little Traverse Bay will never be lost. She will be greatly missed.
Robin is survived by her husband, Mike, daughter Mia Deighan (Cameron Brady), son Connor; her father Roy Leet and her brother Edwin Leet. Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Leet. She is also survived by dozens of brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and grand nephews.
Friends and family may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Roads) on Wednesday, January 4 from 3-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 5 at 10 am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 630 Harmon Street, Birmingham, Michigan 48009. Family and friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am. Robin's final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Michigan.
Memorials may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or the charity of the donor's choice.
