Robin Scott "Red" Huffman, 62, died Sunday, December 21st, 2025 at his residence in Harrodsburg. Born March 10th, 1963 in Danville, Ky he was the son of Bonnie Chapman Huffman of Harrodsburg and the late Bruce W. Huffman. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in the horse industry, including Keeneland, Church Hill Downs and other horse race tracks across the country. He loved watching UK sports and loved playing with all of the children in his family.
Survivors including his mother is one brother: Mark (Lee) Huffman of Harrodsburg; five sisters: Tammie Richardson of Lebanon, Wanda (Gary) Dixon of Salvisa, Patty (Brent) Sallee of Harrodsburg, Kimberly Huffman of Harrodsburg and Bruce Annette (Chuck) Bentley of Danville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bruce Chapman.
Funeral services will 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Brother George Dye officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Wayne Collier, Donald Wayne "Tito" Smith, Chuck Bentley, Gary Dixon, Brent Sallee and Matthew Dixon serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 21903, Lexington, Ky 40522 and or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
