Robin Dean Larsen, 56, passed away at home in Anchorage on September 3, 2025.

Robin was born on May 4th, 1969 and was raised in Sand Point, Alaska. He started fishing with his dad as a young boy on the Champion, later fishing on the Aleutian Belle, Courtney Noral, and Arriah. Fishing was his passion. Robin attended Refrigeration and Realtor School and lived in Bellingham, Washington for a few years in the 90's. He worked as a realtor there but later moved back to Sand Point. There he met Paulette and they married on September 23, 2000. Robin was a self-employed owner-operator in the commercial fishing industry.

Family states: "In loving memory of Robin Dean Larsen, who carried on his family's legacy, following in his father's footsteps, pouring his heart and soul into becoming a legendary fisherman. He proudly passed on this legacy to his son and shared his expertise with many others.

Robin will be remembered as a kind and loving person with an infectious sense of humor who would always put others first. He delighted in creating happy memories and exploring new experiences with family and friends. His goofy nature and generosity of spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. Robin will also be remembered for his selfless acts, big and small, that brightened the days of those he loved. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched."

Robin is survived by his father, Norman Larsen; wife, Paulette Larsen; son, Parker Larsen; daughter, Arriah Loose and her partner, Brian Marine; grandkids, Orian & Leelan; brother, Allen Kuchenoff and his wife Lou Kuchenoff, sister, Sharon Futch; and many nieces and nephews. Robin is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Larsen; brother, Thomas Kaiakokonak; and grandparents.
