Robin Annette Moorhead

Robin A. Moorhead, age 63, sadly passed away on January 31st, 2026. She was born Robin Smiley January 24th, 1963, in the back of a taxicab in Waco, Texas. Preceded in death by her father John Smiley, mother Eileen (Messerschmidt) Rogers and brother Glenn Smiley.

Robin was an amazing God-Fearing woman who embodied servant hood. She was a committed Christian whose faith guided the way she lived and loved. Her family meant everything to her, and she showed that love through her constant care, selflessness, and unwavering support. She was also a wonderful friend, kind, loyal and always ready to listen or lend a helping hand. Her life reflected compassion, grace, and strength, and though she is no longer with us, her faith and love will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her. In her retirement she enjoyed her animals, birds, and reading in her favorite chair on her front porch.

Robin is survived by her children: Melisa (Kenneth) Clemons, Jason (Stephanie) Pecot, and Robert Pecot. Wonderful Nana to her many grandchildren: Sidney Pecot, T.J. Reid Jr., Tyler (Skyla) Reid, Jaylon (Aliyah) Washington, Za'Niyah Hughes, Alayna Pecot, Liam Pecot, Nature-Rayne Pecot, and Emma-Lynn Pecot. Recent great grandmother to Jamesson Syner and Ezra Narey. Her brothers: James Rogers, Terry (Beverly) Rogers, Leroy (Kathy) Smiley. Her first husband Rusty Pecot and second husband Billy Moorhead. Her stepdad William Rogers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, at 10am at Navarro Mills Baptist Church: 1095 FM 667, Purdon, TX 76679 to share stories and music that capture her spirit.
