Robin Gene "Hood" Perry, 62, of Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away on September 7, 2025. Born on October 5, 1962, in Newberry, South Carolina, Robin lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a deep love for the outdoors.

Robin built his career as a Cutter in the timber logging industry, working with companies such as Harmon Logging, CK Dolittle, Southern Pine Logging, Blaze Transport, and others. He took immense pride in his work and was widely regarded as one of the best in the state. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his commitment to those he loved.
He was a man who found joy in simple pleasures-watching Carolina Gamecocks football games with enthusiasm, casting a line while fishing at the lake, grilling meals for family gatherings, and collecting coins. These hobbies reflected his appreciation for tradition and time spent with loved ones.
Robin's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his daughters Holly Perry (Paul) and Heather Perry; grandchildren Austin Blackwell, Abbygail Blackwell, Kale Simmons, Bryson Simmons, Tori Hamilton, Chloe Perry, Mason Perry, Dylan Avery, and Eastin Perry. He also leaves behind his siblings: sisters Vicky Rushton, Kim Bagwell, Jan Ham, Dale Shealy, Faye Couch, Agnes Barber, Brenda Eaves; and brother James Black.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Regina Holder Perry; daughter Dana Perry; mother Betty Lou Bundrick; and father Horace Earl Perry.
Robin will be remembered as a hardworking man who gave everything he had for his family. His strength of character and unwavering love left an indelible mark on those who knew him. He was an awesome dad whose memory will live on through the stories shared around campfires and cookouts for generations to come.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
We will announce on Facebook the service details soon.
