Robin PREUNINGER Obituary

August 24, 1943 - October 25, 2023

Robin Preuninger went home peacefully to the lord surrounded by her loving family October 25, 2023, at Deaconess Medical center in Spokane Washington. She was 80 years young when we lost her to Lymphoma.

Robin was born August 24th, 1943, in Sunnyside, Washington. She was born to Johnny and Gladys Greenhalgh. She had 3 siblings, older brother Terry, who died in the Vietnam war, and is survived by her twin brother Robert and her younger brother Jack.

Robin was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband Glen and their two children, son Terry, daughter Melissa, two grandchildren Kate, Evan, and her daughter in law Lori whom she loved with all of her heart. Family was most important to Robin and for this she has many many family members that will miss her dearly.

Robin was a devout Christian and had a deep personal relationship with her lord Jesus Christ. Robin's best friend was her beloved husband of 58 years. The two enjoyed traveling for many decades in their motorhome across country. They made many wonderful memories together along the way. They were truly inseparable loving each other everyday of their marriage. Robin loved to laugh and enjoy life with friends and family. Mom was on cloud nine when she was watching Her beloved Gonzaga Boys! Her passion and love for the team was unsurpassable. Bring your ear plugs during the game if you were with Robin, you would need them! Robin was active within her church and was a steward in helping young families. She was a social butterfly, who loved to play games of all kinds especially Pinochle and bridge. She truly enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Robin had a giving heart and if you were lucky, you were the recipient of her amazing cinnamon rolls or pies.

Robin gave us all love, laughter and kindness, She showed us strength, compassion and grace. She was always there to remind you what seeds you plant each day to those around you. We will miss her beautiful smile, her Robin sassiness, and fun approach to life.

Robin is home with the lord now. We will miss her deeply every day.

Lord, please take care of our Robin, she is now one of your cherished angels.

Celebration of Life for Robin will be November 5, 2023, at 2:00pm, Spokane Valley Church of the Nazaren, located at 15515 East 20th Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99037.

Remembering you and your loved one today and always. its so hard to lose your lifetime spouse My deepest sympathy I knew Robin as I worked with Glen at Caterpillar for many years and Robin would stop by and we both found that we lived in sunnyside

Robin and I grew up in Sunnyside together. We were members of MYF and went to Lazy F camp several summers. Her folks were wonderful as were her siblings.
She was always fun, happy, eager to help others, it was such a good time when we got together. Glen, Terry, Melissa, Lori, Bob and Jack--I sent my condolences and know life will never be the same for any of you. She was a shining star and always made the world around her brighter for everyone. May she spread her goodness in Heaven.

I met Robin towards the end of her earthly journey but in the precious moments I was granted with her I quickly learned what an incredible soul she was. Even in her final moments she found ways to bless those nearest to her. All my love to her family and friends. I believe, as Robin did, that this is not a final goodbye but a temporary parting. May the Lord hold you close during this time of separation.

Too many special moments to list! She was a good friend and we had many laughs together. We had lost touch in the last couple years, but I thought of her often. Thoughts and prayers for Glen, Terry, Lori, Melissa and family.
