Robin Denise Sims

Robin Denise Sims, 54 of Glen St. Mary, passed from this life unexpectedly on Friday, May 30, 2025. Robin was the daughter of Robert and Vivian (DeVevo) Price, born on September 29, 1970. Robin was a doting mother and grandmother, as well as a loving aunt and sister. She loved to spend her time with family and her grandchildren were her world. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Robin will be remembered as a generous and thoughtful woman who would do anything for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Price and Vivian DeVevo Smith and a nephew, Sean Connell.

She is survived by two sons, Rusty (Rosie) McDermitt and Mitchell (Jordon) McDermitt both of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Kayden, Keagan, Torian, Kailan, Karsan, and Weston; her sisters, Tammy (Billy) Miller and Linda (Dan) McHenry both of Macclenny and Angel Connell of Jacksonville; nieces and nephews, Tracey (Quientin) Canaday, Brandon Miller, Nikki Connell, Breanna (Jed) Parker, Billy “Bubba” (Jessie) Benefield, and Christina (James) Meisner; as well as a host of great nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2025 in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
