A Funeral service for Robye M. Lindsey is Saturday, November 30, 2024, at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mrs. Lindsey, 97 years old, died Monday at The Tennessee State Veterans Home, Humboldt. She is a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, an avid Bethel University supporter, retired from the Social Security and co-owner of Lindsey Rexall in McKenzie. She was born in Bartlett, TN on January 12, 1927, to Otis and Ella McDaniel McCalla.
She is survived by two sons Keith (Melissa) Lindsey of Pontotoc, MS, and Tim (Carol) Lindsey of Clarksville, seven grandchildren Anna (Keith) Garner, Rachel (Randy) Davis, Matthew (Lindsay) Guntharp, Adam Guntharp, Blake Guntharp Kathryn Lindsey and John (Frances Ellmo) Lindsey and six great grandchildren Cecilia Noelle Ellmo Lindsey, Abigail Davis, Madison Garner, Justin Thomas Davis, Jack Garner and Parker Guntharp.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband JT Lindsey, a sister Frances Janet McCalla Jensen and two brothers Charles M McCalla and John “Jack” Allison McCalla
