Robyn Dupont Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tippecanoe Funeral & Cremation Services on Jan. 13, 2026.
Robyn Elizabeth Dupont, age 50, was born in Lafayette, Indiana, in May 1975, and passed away on January 10, 2026, following a year-long stay at West Lafayette Assisted Living.

Robyn was a graduate of West Lafayette High School. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading, especially adventure novels, and enjoyed watching TV game shows. Her favorite relaxing show was Friends. A devoted Purdue fan, Robyn proudly cheered on the Boilermakers during football and basketball seasons. She also enjoyed word puzzles, games, and playing bingo with the group at West Lafayette Assisted Living.

The highlight of Robiyn's life was her close relationship with her son Brenden, who lives in Massachusetts. She treasured the phone calls she received from him every other day and eagerly anticipated his annual summer visits, when he would spend an entire month with her in West Lafayette--times she held very close to her heart.

In her younger years, Robyn loved traveling with her family, and often reminisced about her special vacations in the Caribbean. During her year in Assisted Living, she formed many meaningful friendships, including special bonds with the staff. Robyn was known for her quick wit, gentle humor, and kind spirit--always lighthearted.

Robyn is survived by her beloved son, Brenden Dupont of Massachusetts, and his father William Dupont, also of Massachusetts; her father, Wilbur Lewellen and his wife Eloise, of West Lafayette; her mother, Jean Lewellen, of Lafayette, Indiana; her sister, Jocelyn Lewellen, of West Lafayette; her brother, Stephen Lewellen of Lafayette; her brother, Jonathan Lewellen of New Hampshire; her uncle, Roger Vanderlip of Connecticut; as well as several nieces and one nephew.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W. 350 N., West Lafayette, Indiana, 47906. Entombment will immediately follow the service.
