Robyn Elizabeth Ghiloni, of the St. Martin community in Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence on Monday, October 9, 2023
Robyn was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. She spent most of her childhood in Mobile, Alabama then moved back to her beloved Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she spent the remainder of her life. Robyn married John Ghiloni and became a mother to Bethany, Brandon and Cody. She later took on the role of “Mimi” to her precious grandchildren, Blayden, Mazzy, Kaylen, Brendon, Parker, John Brentley and Hunter. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She had an unwavering love and devotion to her family, making so many sacrifices so they would always feel her love and support no matter the circumstances.
Robyn lived her life as a witness for the Lord. She embodied the qualities of a woman after God’s own heart. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family to many others. She very much enjoyed working in healthcare where she exemplified the qualities of a caregiver with each person she encountered. Her legacy can never be measured or defined in human terms. Although she faced many trials and tribulations, she never let them define her. It was simply just part of the journey God had in store for her. She fought her battles with prayers knowing God was always on her side.
Robyn was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Wayne Reid, Sr. and her half-brother Leonard Wayne Reid, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, John Ghiloni; three children, Bethany Ghiloni (Kris Regan), Brandon Ghiloni and Cody Ghiloni; her Mother and Step-Father, Liz and Bill Metcalf; half-sisters, Jackie (Clay) Soden and Danielle (Austen) Silkman; half-brother, Randy (Marie) Reid; seven grandchildren, Blayden, Mazzy, Kaylen, Brendon, Parker, John Brentley and Hunter; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her most treasured friend, Tammi Sund and cherished co-workers, Terri Henson and Judy Trahan.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all who showered Robyn with blessings.
