Robyn Lenette Newsome, of Windsor, VA, a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 64. Born on September 24, 1961, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Robyn lived a life filled with love for her family and dedication to her work.

Throughout her career, Robyn worked diligently as a bank teller, contributing to the banking industry with her commitment and professionalism. Her warm smile and kind demeanor left a lasting impression on both her colleagues and customers.

Robyn cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in spending time with them. She had a special affection for her grand dog and treasured moments shared with her grandkids.

Robyn was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Delma and Howard Woodard, treasured father, Charles Edward Wood and cousin, Phillip Ripley. She is survived by her loving mother, Joan Lenette Woodard Wood; sisters, Sherri Whisenant and Kim Mixon Scott, her devoted son, Patrick Newsome, and his wife, Arica; and her adored grandchildren, who she was fondly known as "Mimi" to Franklin Joseph and Abigail Rose Newsome. Robyn's presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held to honor Robyn's memory. The Cremation Society of Virginia, Chesapeake Office, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Friends and family are invited to share their condolences online at www.vacremationsociety.com.
