He attended William M. Raines High School where he ran track and was on the swimming team. He attended the University of North Carolina before joining the U.S. Army.
Rockefellow was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Chanta Brazle. He leaves behind two sons: Antoino Lawrence and Jordan Brazle, and two granddaughters: Aliyah and Ashayla Lawrence; siblings: brother, Marvin Brazle (Molly) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, sisters: Meltonia Brazle Conner, Meldoney Brazle Webb (Jerry) of Albany, GA, Melinda Brazle Rellford (Cecil), Marolynn Brazle Hall (Sanchez), Marva Brazle Brown (Bernard) and Maria Brazle Brown (Taurus) of Jacksonville, FL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Brazle family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Vitas Healthcare. Memorialization will be by cremation.
