Roderick Arthur Johnson, Jr. was born on May 26, 1962, in Clearwater, Florida to Roderick A. Johnson, Sr. and Betty Johnson.
He was a lifelong resident of Florida. He was educated in Pinellas County Schools.
Roderick was employed with Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital for 24 years.
Roderick coached for the Clearwater Junior Tornadoes and was known as "Coach Bo".
He enjoyed fishing. Roderick Arthur Johnson, Jr. transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida.
He is predeceased by his parents, Roderick A. Johnson, Sr. and Betty Johnson and sister, Claudette Johnson.

Children: Tanell Johnson, Kionia Long (Erin), Anisha Hamm (Evan), Cartavius Johnson, Rachard Johnson, Raeven Johnson, Devon Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson
Siblings: Blossom Bolt (James), Etma Grey, Peter Johnson, Sr. (Debbie), Sylvia Williams, Johnnie Mae Mason, Joseph Johnson and John Johnson
Special brother-in-law: Pastor CJ Wright
And a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and friends who will cherish his memories.

Roderick and I was introduced when I started watching his son Devon. He was a very kind person. He would be deeply missed. My heart goes out to the family. I will continue to pray for your strength.
