Roderick W. Hudson BARRING TON - Roderick W. 'Rod' Hudson of Barrington, N.H., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Hyder House in Dover, N.H. on Oct. 23, 2015 He was born June 20, 1959, in Boston, the son of Phineas and Marina Hudson. He was well loved and will be deeply missed. He loved his family and friends more than anything. Telling tall tales and making people laugh were just who he was. He was always up for any adventure that came his way. He always called everyone his kid, never once did he label anyone has a stepchild or friend. They were always family in his eyes. He loved the outdoors, whether it be camping, fishing, or a big bonfire. He loved Chinese Food, Boston,and his friends. Nobody ever went with out. He would always say "It's No Big deal" "Ya know, what are you going to do about it" "Oh Marone" I don't think anyone ever had a real name, he always called the kids something. Porky,Piglet, French Fry. Please take this time to share your memories and nicknames Rod served as m Infantryman in the United States Army where he did a short stay in Germany. He is survived by his daughters Danielle Eldon of Gonic, N.H., Kaitlyn Hudson of Mass., Tawney Jalbert of Chelmsford, Mass.; son Steven Jalbert of Chelmsford Mass.; mother Marina Hudson of Exeter, N.H.; sister Beverly Carmeling and husband Larry of Yarmouth, Mass.; brother PhINEAS (Sonny) B. Hudson of Lynn, Mass.;, sister Kathleen Fife and fiance David Mischke or Northwood, N.H.; sister Sarah Hudson and fiance Raymond of Barnstead, N.H.; and grandchildren Ayleah, Amyah, Kevin and Matthew. He was predeceased by his father, Phineas B. Hudson. SERVICES: A memorial will be held on Oct. 27, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, 307 Epping Road, Exeter N.H. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with costs.
