Rodney Shane Allen, 50, died on September 4th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He lived a life filled with passion, purpose and unwavering determination.
Rodney was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana on May 27th, 1975 to Karen and Jacky Allen. He attended Natchitoches Central High School, then soon went onto work for his dad doing construction. He always seemed to find those around him laugh. Rodney enjoyed taking a ride in his jeep on hot summer days, playing with his dog, or just spending quality time with family. He was known for always being there for people, making every room light up with his playful jokes, and always supporting people no matter what.
Rodney is survived by his parents Jacky and Karen Allen. His wife, Shannon Allen. His two daughters Taylor and Chloe Allen. His wishes were to be cremated after the service. Services for Rodney Allen will be held on September 6th, 2025 at Blanchard St. Denis in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Visitation hours are from 5-7pm and the service will follow at 7pm.
