Rodney A. Brodeur, 71, of Gardner, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 31, 1954, in Gardner to Adrien A. Brodeur and Dorilla L. (Belliveau) Brodeur.
He completed some schooling at Franklin Pierce University. He was employed by Salvadore, as a car conditioner for 25 years and retired from MART at age 62.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Therese Brodeur, his sisters, Nancy Landry and her husband Marcel, and Janice Brodeur, his daughter, Hailee, two step-daughters, Sharen and Sarah, six grandchildren, Eddie, Austin, Lillian, Christopher, Emily, and Ethan, one great-grandchild Aziel, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters, Barbara A. Brodeur, who passed in 1953, and Donna M. Brodeur, who passed in 1969.
Rodney loved traveling, especially to the beach, spending time with family, and going to the annual Whitney Pig Roast at his sister and brother-in-law's house. He loved sitting on the porch in his wheelchair with his friends, and he loved cars.
A celebration of life will be held on at the Acadien Social Club, 193 Parker St, Gardner. MA November 15th from 1:00 -4:00 PM.
