Victor P. Brodeur Jr., a cherished family man and respected business owner, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, at the age of 84. Born in Milford, on June 18, 1941, to the late, Victor Philip Sr. and Barbara Virginia (Berry) Brodeur.
Victor was raised and lived in Bellingham for many years, where he developed a strong sense of community and an admirable work ethic. These qualities stayed with him as he matured into a man of integrity and kindness. In 1977, he established Brodeur Pump Company in Bellingham, a business that would become a cornerstone of the community. Victor's hard work and dedication to his trade were evident, as he operated the business successfully until his retirement in 2001, to which his son Todd took over.
Family was the center of Victor's world. He is survived by his loving wife, of 43 years Deborah Brodeur of Uxbridge, and their four children, who brought immense joy to his life. His sons, Scott Brodeur and his wife Stephanie of Denison, TX, Glen Brodeur and his wife Wendy of Northbridge, Todd Brodeur and his wife Brenda of Uxbridge, and his daughter, Vicki MacKenzie and her wife Kelley of Providence, R.I., will forever remember their father's unwavering support and love. Victor's legacy continues through his seven grandchildren, Amanda, Courtney, Lauren, Tim, Tyler, Austin, and Savannah, as well as his six great-grandchildren, Arianna, Liam, Rowen, Braelyn, Reid, and Ava, all of whom he adored.
An avid sports fan, Victor's enthusiasm for softball and his beloved Red Sox was infectious. He spent many a day cheering on his favorite teams and imparting his passion for the game to his children and grandchildren. Victor's love for travel was another facet of his adventurous spirit. He delighted in taking trips with his family, creating memories that they will treasure always. He was also a United States Air Force veteran.
Victor's presence in the community was marked by his generous spirit and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was a friend to many and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His jovial nature and his ability to see the good in
people made him a beloved figure in his hometown.
As we bid farewell to Victor Philip Brodeur Jr., we reflect on a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and meaningful connections. His was a life that touched many, and the impressions he left on our hearts will remain indelible. We celebrate Victor not only for what he accomplished but for the remarkable person he was. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the lives of those he loved most.
The Brodeur family will gather in a private ceremony to honor Victor's memory.
