Rodney Mason Davis, age 62, died September 19, 2025.
Rodney was born in San Diego, CA on October 1, 1962. He was the son of Frederick and Mary (Backus) Davis. He grew up in Brandon where he received his early education and graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 1980. Rodney began his working career as a roofer. He later became a carpenter working with and for; Dan Ross, for several years. He excelled at home remodeling and trim work. He enjoyed playing tennis, and was very mechanically inclined. He was an avid bow and rifle hunter who loved the great outdoors.
Surviving is his wife; Lorna Chapleau Davis, 2 sons; Khilion M.J. Davis, Rodney K. C. Davis, 2 daughters; Jenny Lynne Chapleau and Brittany Lee Davis, a brother; David F. Davis, a half-brother Daryl Davis and one half-sister; Cheryl Key. 4 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.
A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date in Pine Hill cemetery in Brandon.

Rodney was in our lives more than 40 years. During most of those years we enjoyed many good times, lots of laughter. I'll always remember him for that deep voice and good sense of humor. He left us too soon, he is and will be missed by our family. Rest in peace Rodney.
