Rodney Kemple Obituary

Rodney Kemple, 65, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning in the emergency room at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 21, 1959, in Rochester, Indiana, he was the son of the late Mary Belle (Osborn) and Kenneth Kemple.
Rodney attended and graduated from Culver Community High School in 1979, where he excelled in baseball and football. During the summers, while in high school, he worked with a well-known carpenter, Dave Burns, learning a valuable skill that would serve him well in life. Following graduation, Rodney became a union carpenter where he reached the level of journeyman. On Oct. 20, 1992, he was married to Lisa E. (Hyndman) Kemple, who survives.
An outdoor enthusiast, Rodney spent his free time fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting. He loved hunting rabbits with his beloved Beagle, Smokey, and her pups, Cloco and Queenie.
Rodney was adored and respected by his stepsons, Evan and Adam Krieg. Also surviving are his family, Karen, Jay, Coby, Joh, Cindy, Mike, Ann & Jim Rowe, and Judy and Darryl Fisher.
Memorial contributions may be made to your local humane society, the Cass County Pets R Us, or the Marshall County Animal Shelter.
