Rodney J. Quinn, 86, of New Bedford died March 26, 2026 at Vantage of New Bedford.
He was born in Newburyport, MA, son of the late Raymond and Grace (Woodburn) Quinn, he lived in New Bedford since 1995.
Mr. Quinn served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a hospital corpsman attached to the fleet Marine Force, he was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran. He was a life member of Dr Burt DAV #7 and Vietnam Veteran of America Chapter #499, New Bedford and Andrew Dahill VFW Post #1531.
Survivors include 2 children, Joel Quinn and his girlfriend Rachel Jackson of Mansfield and Lynn Brown and her husband Jason of Lakeville; a step-daughter, Lori Lovering of Brockton; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Quinn and Kaeden Brown.
He was the brother of the late Raymond Quinn, Leo Quinn, Loren Quinn and Gordon Quinn.
His Funeral Service followed by burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery will be private.
