Rodney Lynn Spader, 75, of Decatur passed from this earth Monday, December 22nd, 2025.
Rodney was born November 6th, 1950 to Frank Harvey and June Rose (Byers) Spader in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage April 8th, 1972 to Donna L. Bentley. Rodney was a retired dispatcher after many years with Excel in the transportation industry. He graduated with an Associate’s degree from Wichita State University in Kansas. Rodney was a member of the Church of Christ, and he proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Spader and June Rose Brant; and his beloved wife, Donna Spader; and a sister, Robin Spader Hallner.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Jodi Reyes and husband Delvin; his son, Troy Spader and wife Gina; a sister, Rozalyn Spader Boggs; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; extended family members and a host of friends.
