Rodney Alan Stephens

Rodney Alan Stephens of Coleman, Oklahoma passed away on September 25, 2021 at the age of 56. Rodney was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Charles Henry Stephens and Doretha Ann Stephens on June 12, 1965. He spent the majority of his working career as a manager for Gabriel Shocks Manufacturer. Rodney was employed for the last eight years as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore at his time of passing.
Rodney loved to spend time outside, and he was an avid hunter and gun enthusiast. He loved watching and playing all sports, and was an all-star athlete in high school. Rodney loved going on vacation, especially to warm, beachy destinations. Rodney touched the hearts of many, and he will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Stephens.
Rodney is survived by his children, son Craig Stephens and daughter Jamie Stephens, his mother, Doretha Stephens, one brother, Charles Wayne Stephens, and one sister, Andrea Yoss, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.
Services for Rodney will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore.
