Rodney Boyce Storms

Rodney Boyce Storms, age 87, of Whiteville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Columbus Regional Healthcare. He was born in Bladen County on September 28, 1935 to the late James Gordon Storms and Lillie Edwards Storms. In addition to his parents; Rodney is preceded in death by his brothers; Millard Storms, Billy Ray Storms and Frankie Storms and his sister; Louphelia Storms Britt.
Rodney served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a salesman at Kramers Clothing Store in Whiteville.
He is survived by his wife; Ruth Smith Storms, a son; Rodney Boyce Storms, Jr of Whiteville, a daughter; Kathie Yocco (Dean) of Savannah, GA, sons; Michael Storms and Mark Storms both of Whiteville, a sister; Gracie Faye Storms of Bladenboro, NC, 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Western Prong Baptist Church from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2023 and a Service will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Western Prong Baptist Church at 2:30 pm with Rev. Warren Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
