November12,1958 - November 16, 2025

Rodney proudly served his country as a Paratrooper in the United States Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division. He completed Jump School at Fort Benning, GA-an accomplishment that reflected his courage and commitment.

Education was another important milestone for Rodney. After graduating High School, he later pursued higher education as an adult and earned an associate degree in medical assisting at Miller Mottes Technical College. Rodney graduated at the top of his class demonstrating his dedication and perseverance.

Rodney practiced the Christian Faith and placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. That same faith sustained him during his courageous battle with cancer.

Rodney found joy and freedom in riding his motorcycle. He shared a special bond with his dog, beloved dog Chance, and his cat Hardtail. These simple pleasures brought him peace and companionship.

Rodney is lovingly remembered by his father Roger G. Wright, mother Shelby J. Wright, sisters Pamela J. Jones and Melissa D. Miller; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Rodney was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

May Rodney's memory bring comfort to all those who mourn his passing and inspiration to those who remember how bravely he lived and died. A visitation will be held at Simplicity 281 Treeland Drive Ladson SC on November 20, 2025 from 10:00am – 10:30 am with a Memorial Service to follow. Burial will be held in Beaufort SC
