Rogelio Rico Correa "Roque", "Rocky" 61, of King City passed away peacefully, from a sudden illness at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2024. Rogelio was born on December 17, 1962.
Rogelio was predeceased by his father Ezequiel Correa; mother, Fidela Correa, and his sister, Maria "Elvia" Correa. He leaves behind his three wonderful children, Rogelio Correa Jr "Roger", Vanity Correa, and Clarissa Correa. Along with his five siblings; Estela Correa, Juan Correa, Martha Correa, Ruben Correa, and Gilberto Correa.
Rogelio came to King City California as a young adult, he was an agricultural worker, dedicated to cultivate and harvest crops in Monterey County. Those who knew Rogelio knew that he was a people's person. A person who was outgoing and sociable. He was always the life of the party! Rogelio was known to tell great stories and had the best jokes. He had such a contagious laugh that it spread to others. You were bound to laugh when you were around him. He made sure of it! He loved spending time at the park with friends playing horseshoes, dominos, and cards. Rogelio had a passion for playing musical instruments like the guitar and harmonica, any instrument that he could get his hands on he was always eager to play.
We will always carry and hold his memories in our hearts. Rogelio will be greatly missed by his family and friends. For those who knew him, "Don't worry, be happy!"
