Roger Dale Albertson

Roger Albertson, 81, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.

Roger Dale Albertson was born June 14, 1944 to Kenneth and Florence (Bergman) Albertson in Breckenridge, MN. He graduated from the West Central School of Agriculture in Morris in 1962 and later attended MN School of Business in Minneapolis.

On June 24, 1967 he married Constance "Connie" Huse in Dalton. Roger and Connie resided on the family farm south of Foxhome, where they raised their three children. Roger farmed until 2008 when he "officially" retired. Upon retirement, he and Connie built a home in Fergus Falls, and enjoyed traveling to Arizona in the winter. Roger continued to help on the family farm until his health no longer allowed.

He loved spending time with the love of his life, Connie of 58 years. His "Lena". He found great joy and pride in creating lasting memories with his children and grandchildren at Lake Ethel. Roger was a member of the Elk's Club and the Uninvited's Car Club of Fergus Falls. He enjoyed auction sales, mowing the lawn, helping on the farm, and driving his 64' Impala.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Kenneth and Florence; twin brother, Ronald; older brother, Allen; nephew Jeremy Rossow; and father and mother-in-law, Newman and Harriet Huse.

Roger is survived by his wife, Connie Albertson of Fergus Falls; children, Kelly (Wendy) Albertson of Doran, Bryan (Jenny) Albertson of Foxhome, and Melanie (Joe) Klosterman of Mooreton; grandchildren, Sydney (Coulter) Hanson, Gracee Albertson (Ethan Curtis), Raegan (Riley) Larson, Avery Albertson, Ethan Albertson, Cooper Klosterman, Kaleb Albertson, and Hattie Albertson; sister, Kay (Larry) Rossow; and sisters-in-law, Barb and Sandy Albertson.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Lake Region Cancer Care & Research or Bethel Church in Fergus Falls.

Visitation: 2:00 to 4:00 Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Olson Funeral and Cremation, with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. The visitation will resume one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday, November 24, 2025 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN
