Roger Allen Brown, age 55, passed away peacefully on October the 8th 2025 at his residence in Fairborn, OH.

Roger was born on December 22nd 1969 in Dayton, OH. He was the eldest child of Roger Weldon Brown and Judith Carol Doherty. He graduated from Cedarville High School in 1988 where he lettered varsity in football, basketball, and baseball. Right out of high school Roger enlisted in the Marine corps where he was later generally discharged under honorable conditions. In his younger years, he worked landscaping at the Kennedy Space Center and Patrick Air Force Base in Florida, he then moved his career into highway construction. Some of Rogers passions include everything football, spending time & continuously learning about nature, and an unmatchable pride for his family.

Roger Allen is survived by his loving mother Judith Carol Doherty, his 3 devoted children & there spouses/partners - Savanah Rylie & Bee Ward, Rodlee Allen Brown & Abygail Slaven, Reese Ayden Brown & Alicia Shrader. His beautiful grandsons, Raymond Allen Brown and Waylon Johnson. His wife, Phylese Brown; uncles, Randy, Rick, David and Bill Brown, Charles Thomas; aunt, Nancy Thomas. He is also survived by many loving friends & extended family.

Roger is preceded in death by his father Roger Weldon Brown; sister, Rebecca Anne Brown; and brother, Rodney Lee Brown.

A funeral service will be held October 17th, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Major Shawn Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Gravesite services will follow at Massie Creek Cemetery, 2127 Tarbox Cemetery Rd, Cedarville, Ohio 45314.
