Roger Cheek Obituary
Roger was born June 23, 1944, in Elkin, N.C. to the late Willard and Hazel (Tucker) Cheek. He was the oldest of 11 children. He worked as a supervisor with GM for over 40 years before retiring. He married Peggy Szwev on June 18, 1988, and the two of them did a lot of traveling as Roger was always on the move. He lived life to the fullest and being outdoors. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.
He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Peggy, their children, Brian (Jamie) Cheek of Howard City, MI, Chris (Steve) Wood of Point Place, OH, Scott (Cherie) Nuttall of White Lake, MI, Chad (Danielle) Nuttall of Highland, MI, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Roger has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
