Roger Coody Obituary
Mr. Coody was born to the late Herman and Pauline Coody. Known affectionately by many as "Big Roger," he was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who cherished time spent with his family and loved ones.
He is survived by his sons, Roger Coody Jr. and Trent (Kacie) Coody; daughters, Tonya (Henry) Howell and Chloe Gaskin; grandchildren, Austin (Tamyra) Coody, Jadyn Coody, Casey Coody, Alyssa Howell, Kinsley Coody, Kooper Coody, Konner Barnett, and Kenna Coody; three great-grandchildren, Kyrie Shaneyfelt, Skylin Shaneyfelt, and Alayah Shaneyfelt; siblings, William (Gayle) Coody, Thomas Coody, Joyce (Randy) Renfroe, and Rachel (Jason) Bloodworth; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Nacole Coody; brother, Donald Coody; and grandchild, Nicholas Howell.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Old Fairview Cemetery.
